As the CEE Her Breakfasts have become a permanent feature of GLOBSEC Bratislava Forum, it is important to remind ourselves that while the topics discussed during these events are time-sensitive, they are also equally relevant today. The CEE Her Breakfast in 2019, which took place on the sidelines of the conference, allowed for a highly inspirational and eye-opening exchange of views on “Women Navigating Through Disruption”.

Whether it is the artificial intelligence, technology or self-doubt, the status and the role of female professionals in society and especially in the labor market are largely disadvantaged compared to their male counterparts. The CEE Her Team within GLOBSEC, with the support of the Open Society Foundations, considers the CEE Her Database a valuable resource to overcome multiple challenges and threats to female voices while using a single platform. The societies are still navigating through disruptions and so it is crucial for women to be represented when finding the solutions.
