Mariola Ceku holds a Bachelor degree in Political Science from the American University of Athens graduated with Magna Cum Laude and a Master Degree in Democracy and Human Rights, double degree from University of Sarajevo and Bologna University, ERMA scholarship co- financed form European Union and Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Her fields of interest are democratization, European Integration process and security of the Western Balkan. She has taken numerous training abroad related to international relation, international security, negotiation and reconciliation process form OSCE, EU and UN. Mariola has been involved in different projects of civil society dealing with gender equality and human rights as an executive board member of JEF-Albania. Recently, she has been part of the GCSEE/ERMA regional team for Global Campus Human Rights Journal 2019. She has broad experience in Governmental institutions in Albania and abroad including Prime Minister’s office in Albania and the Directorate for European Integration under the Council of Ministers, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Currently she is working at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and is participating in the GLOBSEC program as Young Ambassador for Reconciliation of the WB.
