Jana Emerencie Kostrhunova is an international affairs professional. She has theoretical and practical knowledge of the European Union, having worked at the Secretariat-General of the European Commission in the service of the Commission's President and Vice-Presidents (Juncker administration). She continued her career in the office of the Secretary-General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe – the world's largest security-oriented intergovernmental organization. Her experience includes the OPEC Fund for International Development, where she focused on public sector development finance in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe. Apart from international and intergovernmental organizations, she also worked at headquarters of global NGOs such as Transparency International and the International Crisis Group – think-tank performing research and analysis on global crises used by policymakers and academics alike. She graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with an MSc degree in International Relations. Furthermore, she holds a BA degree from Sciences Po Paris, including a one-year exchange program at MGIMO – international affairs institute of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
