Iulia Sbârcea is a young political scientist with various qualifications in the field of good governance, including anti-corruption and business integrity. She currently serves as adviser in the Internal Policy Department of the Romanian Presidential Administration. Previously, Iulia was an independent consultant, collaborating both with public institutions, such as the Romanian Diplomatic Institute or the Ministry for Local Development, as well as with several highly ranked NGOs in Romania that share the mission to strengthen democracy at central and local level by encouraging civic participation and condemning corruption. In 2013, she was part of the small team of experts gathered by the Pro Democracy Association to coordinate the works of the Constitutional Forum, a civic platform nominated by the Romanian Parliament to gather and assemble the civil society initiatives regarding the revision of the Romanian Constitution. Since 2013, she is also a teaching assistant at the Political Science Department of the National School of Political Studies and Public Administration. Iulia is also one of the authors publishing in the Ethics and Compliance magazine.
