Catherine Lourdes Dy is an academic-practitioner, currently collaboratrice scientifique at the Université Libre de Bruxelles’ Laboratoire d’Anthropologie des Mondes Contemporains (ULB/LAMC) and most recently, programme manager at the Peace Action, Training and Research Institute of Romania (PATRIR) and Coordinator of the CHAMPIONs project. Kate holds a Ph.D. in political theory from the LUISS Guido Carli di Roma in Italy alongside a Ph.D. in political science from the ULB in Belgium. Her research interests cover migration and security, individually and their points of intersection — including third country national integration, both immediate needs and long-term, as well as polarization and radicalization within or against vulnerable groups, with a focus on Eastern Europe.
